Penalty killing isn’t a specialty. It is probably one of the more simplistic parts of hockey.

As a former defenseman, I find this to be incredibly insulting.

How annoying was Pierre last night?

"A year ago, that would have been a goal"

I heard that at least 5 times. We get it Pierre. Also when they asked for the Penguins goalie coaches background and he fired it off without hesitation.. Dude is creepy.

Seems like that's been happening a lot more often recently.

I'd like to blame the Rangers.

Probably, their cockiness and delusional fanbase who thinks they are better than every other fanbase killed the site's will to live.

Yes all this cross pollination is screwing with the equilibrium of the networks core balance - there's only so much poop moving around that the system can handle outside of the pre-programmed parameters!

I didn't notice the site was down. I was too busy dunking on my 8 year old neighbor, telling him and his family that the Red Wings and their fans suck, and running naked through the woods singing the Rangers' goal song.

God damn, that sounds like an amazing way to start off a day. Minus the Rangers' goal song part.

My problem with the penalties is that I'm watching the other playoff games too and a lot of that is not being called. The Habs and Sens for instance had way more of that jostling that Comeau was called for interference on, that ultimately ended up a goal. Of the four penalties in the first Perron's slashing was truly a (playoff) penalty. The point I'm making is I just want to see consistency throughout all of the games. Not for it to be different in each series. It doesn't make sense when you look at as a whole.

"Simple basic boring hockey mixed in with some lucky bounces is what the Penguins need right now."

Ladies and gentlemen...your 2014-2015 Pittsburgh Penguins.

One other thing about the game last night...

There was mad interference all game long. We're officially back to 2004.

I remember Perron dumping a puck in late in the 3rd, full speed, skating towards his dump. A Ranger D-man just cut his ass right off and impeded his progress. Saw Pens doing it also.

I was advised by a Rags fan that Comeau changed direction from where the puck was & shoved his hand in the Rangers player's face - now that apparently according to him is a definite penalty in any game!!

Rags had way more PPs.

So, is it OK for us Pens fans to complain about how much Bettman wants the Rags in the Finals? Should we complain about the refs rigging the game? That allowed? This was a theme on these boards for the past few years no?

Bettman wants Mr Dreamy himself Hank Lund in the Finals.

Too bad they were in "swallow the whistle" mode when the Rags started taking penalties. Joke league.

You've said multiple times you didn't even see a second of the game

Why are you whining about penalties that you didn't see?
